This is one of my favorites so far. The reading focused on making an early morning time with God a priority. Not sure how this pans out for non-morning people, but I find morning time sets the day aright. The quote under the rooster getting the worm (and yes they do eat worms) is from a favorite song "Just give me Jesus" by Fernando Ortega. It holds special significance to me because it was sung at my mother's funeral. About four weeks before she died we attended Ann Graham Lotz woman's conference together. Fernando Ortega led the worship and it was amazing. This was our favorite song. It became her mantra leading up to her death. She said all the things that were so important (shopping, work etc) were completely uninteresting now. Her focus had turned to seeing Jesus.
